Dry skin is a very big problem in Bangalore because the weather is dry too, and the water is very hard. Couple of things one needs to remember is the dry skin is not just the external abuse but also due to what you eat. Your diet, especially to important 2 vitamins, Vitamin A and Vitamin C, not to forget Vitamin E. Vitamin E really helps you to get the glow as well as reduce the flakiness of your skin. The best source of Vitamin E are olives, olive oil, nuts also spinach. Vitamin A is a wonder Vitamin as far as dry skin and ageing is concerned because Vitamin A gives you the glow and the oil from within. Very simple food gives you good amount of Vitamin A like carrots and sweet potatoes, some of the dark green vegetables too. Vitamin A is a wonder vitamin for antiageing. So do include in your diet some amount of carrots and sweet potatoes daily and you will see that you age very slowly. Last but not the least is Vitamin C or, citrus fruits. It prevents pigmentation and acts as an antioxidant. A beautiful introduction into your diet to have that glowing skin. As far as beauty tips for dry skin is concerned, there are couple of things that you need to be careful about is that which face wash do you pick up. So try and pick up face washes that are for sensitive skin or specifically for dry skin. The advantage here is that you won’t leave you making you feel a little stretchy and hard. The other thing is moisturize. Pick up the right moisturizer. Generally the face and the body moisturizers are different. So do not do all in one. Pick up a good face moisturizer and a good body moisturizer. Don’t forget your sunscreen. In case you have to apply a makeup, pick up a makeup that suits your skin best, there are makeups for dry as well as for oily skin types, Pick the ones that suit your skin best. Do not forget to test is once you use it. Avoid using very harsh chemicals, hot water and very drying cosmetics on your face. Alcoholic cosmetics are more drying. So pick up thee nonalcoholic ones. For your body use a good body wash instead of harsh soaps because that will dry off your skin further. Wear lose clothing, preferably cotton and not synthetic.
