Breast reduction surgery is a very common surgery done in India where women feel that their breasts is too big for their body size. The breast causes them a lot of discomfort and a lot of pain, shafting, abnormal posture, and sometimes underlying skin infection because of excessive sweat that is collected between the breast. Once the breast reduction surgery is done, you can go home the same day. Sometimes your surgeon depends on the surgery done, your surgeon may keep a drain, where there is a small container with a tube where the fluids and pus comes and helps to prevent infection and helps to improve the wound healing. Once you come again to the clinic after 48 hours of surgery the drain is removed. Your next visits is after 8th or the 10th day where we look at the wounds and see if it is healing, if the wounds are healed, your surgeons will start on a scar therapy and the scars are minimized. Next is a visits on the 10th day, a month later than that and the final visits is after 3 months. After 3 months or will see the results of your breast reduction surgery and the molding will be complete and will be able to appreciate the look on your breasts.
