Can eye exercises help in correction of Squint? – Dr. Sriram Ramalingam
Squints are because of muscle imbalance. There is no exercise by which one can correct this muscle imbalance. There are certain forms of stabismus which are called as convergence insufficiency or in this type of squint where the person is not able to maintain the eye in near position. That is for reading. Those conditions can be corrected by exercises. But as such, there is no exercise by which one can correct or get rid of this squint. Squint usually requires either a surgery or some other form of treatment, but there is no muscle exercise or eye exercise which will correct the squint.
