In 1973 when I was teaching Wing Chun to my students.I noticed that most students do not have a strong and tough leg foundation.

I introduced the Chi Sau Ring which made of cane to help them to toughen and strengthen their leg.
After practising for one month daily most students fond that their leg are much stronger and even tougher to stand any punishment during sparring.
