Blepheritis is where there is inflammation of the lid margins. The lid margins get inflamed. Any area which gets inflamed, there will be redness, soreness, edema and all of these will be associated with those with dry eye , lots of children with allergic conjunctivitis also get this lid infections, how do we treat this? We keep the eyes as clean as possible. So what we prefer here is the antibiotic eye ointment. So here what we do is we take the antibiotic eye ointment on our finger tips and put it on top of the lashes and massage. The massage is very important because all the lash line has got implicated. The lash line is important as this will bring out the blepheritis. But more important than that is we have to treat the dryness. To treat the dryness.
