I can’t even count the number of people who have hit up my DM’s telling me that they just had their first anxious episode. Anxiety is rampant right now and even though I typically talk about relationships, being a former therapist and the owner of a therapy practice (www.kmatherapy.com) I am VERY familiar with anxiety – how it feels, and some immediate strategies on how to cope.
Please remember – this is NOT a therapy session. There are so many amazing therapists out there and a Youtube video can’t possibly substitute personal evaluation and guidance from a trained professional. This is simply meant to give you some basic tools to understand what your anxiety triggers are and help you in in-the-moment scenarios.
