How to get rid of white genital pimples in men? – Dr. Nischal K

White pimples in the genital area can be related to the hair follicle or related to the glans penis or it can be on any surface on the genital area. the ones which are related to the hair follicle are nothing but, that is they are the oil glands which are enlarged due to the effect of the hormones hypertrophied oil glands, which is the androgen. Pearly penile papules are white pimple like rashes which happens on the glans. They are usually asymptomatic. They usually do not cause any itching or pain it is not a disease but a variation. It is nothing but a hypertrophied fibrous tissue across the corona glandis in the glans. It is more common in people who are uncircumcised than people who are circumcised because the hydration is less in circumcised individuals. Other white bumps or rashes can be molluscum or a wart and you need to consult your dermatologist to check for that. Hypertrophied oil glands or the sebaceous glands, and pearly penile papules, no need to treat that. But if they are very prominent and unsightly, you need to treat them and ablate them with CO2 lasers or ablate it with radiofrequency. These 2 options are quite safe and can be done. Molluscum or any other infection has to be treated accordingly. Most often it is done by radiofrequency ablation.
