Premature greying of hair is a very common issues these days and there are a lot of factors which are responsible for this. One could be the genetic tendency, that is the inheritance, that is if your parents develop greying of hair faster, or an earlier age, then you tend to develop it. Other is the environmental stresses, body stresses. Other lack of vitamin like folic acid, calcium pantothenate, hypothyroidism and Vitamin B12 deficiency. But only when the levels are very low, they can give rise to this premature greying of hair. As regards to treatment, there is hardly anything that can be done. Only if there is some known deficiency, the supplementation of those vitamins have found to be more effective. So calcium pantothenate supplementation has been found to be little bit effective to the treatment of premature greying of hair. When it comes to greying of hair on the scalp, there are lot of options, you can just cover them up with hair color or shampoos which gives you a tint. But when it comes to greying of hair on the beard or on the moustache area, shaving is the best option. So avoid these areas, that is the beard or on the moustache areas because the chances of developing irritation in these areas are very high. The hair color should not come in contact with the skin or the face. If it comes in contact with the face, it develops an irritant contact dermatitis or pigmented contact dermatitis, means the area itself becoming darker and blacker. So the best way to deal with this Premature greying in this area is shaving, so shaving of the beard or on the moustache area and if there are proneness to any deficiencies, then supplementation with some oral medicines will also help to a certain extent.
