Early morning onset of sneezing, blocked nose, congestion, running nose, or any combination of these symptoms definitely indicate that person is allergic to the atmospheric pollution or dust. When the pollens or dust deposits in the nose, it creates a reaction. When the quantity is sufficient then the person starts sneezing, then running nose, congestion all follow. This is more so early in the morning because, early morning lot of flowers blossom around us, the pollens movement is quite a lot in the morning. In a person who is already allergic, there is a slight mismatch in the neural or nervous system signals,so it is quite common for an allergic individual to have a bad smell inside the nostril which is not perceptible to any person around you. That is something you need not worry about, as long as you treat the allergy and keep the symptoms under control, things are normal. Coming to more, or rather rare problem, the smell is because of something more sinister, that means there is pus formation or rotting inside the nostrils. Pus is nothing but a dead tissue which is getting destroyed,anything that is dead and rotten is going to smell. Pus is something similar to that, if there is a foul smell felt by person around you, then it needs to be looked at.
