It is part our household, mosquito repellant liquids, we can find in every household, and we know it is effective against mosquitoes and other insects but we should not forget that this is a potential poison if a human being ingests it or consumes it and it has implications. So the signs and symptoms vary from very early, very minor to a major catastrophe. Some of the early signs where are human being has ingested this poison is it can be simply nausea, vomiting, uneasiness, fatigue, it can be chills and the person can be sweating. It can also be a symptom like gastroenteritis and there are other implications. So depending on the volume of the liquid is consumed, depending in the amount of liquid ingested, the patient can have cardiovascular complications, the person can have chest tightness, they can have changes in their cardiovascular dynamics like blood pressure and heart rate. Going farther, it can be more severe and thy can have convulsions and that can be life threatening. Not only convulsions but status epileptics. These convulsions are difficult to control. These convulsions take the form of a very critical path where the patient has to be admitted in the hospital and given life support. So we should not underestimate the precautions of how to use the mosquito repellant in the houses.
